With an impressive track record spanning over two decades, Irene has distinguished herself as a dedicated and passionate optometrist. Her academic foundation was completed at the Elite School of Optometry, Sankara Nethralaya in India, where she acquired the knowledge and skills that have shaped her career.

Before joining Genesis Healthcare, Irene was the Senior Optometrist at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai. Her expertise extends to the specialized realm of myopia control with Orthokeratology lenses. She has been a certified Orthokeratologist for 15 years. As a testament to her international recognition in this domain, apart from obtaining a Fellowship , she also holds the position of Secretary at the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, based in the United States. Additionally, her stature is further affirmed by her Fellowship with the British Contact Lens Association.

Irene’s proficiency goes beyond conventional optometry, as she excels in managing complex cases like keratoconus involving irregular corneas and ocular surface disorders. Her adept use of scleral lenses and hybrid lenses in these scenarios showcases her commitment to providing comprehensive and innovative solutions.
