Gemma is one of Dubai’s leading reflexologists with over 16 years of experience across the UK and the Middle East. She is best known for her work supporting couples on their fertility and pregnancy journeys with Reflexology.

 

Gemma is a highly experienced and skilled reflexologist with a true passion for holistic health and well-being for her clients. It was this intrigue and passion for managing her health and well-being holistically which led her to leave her early career in Marketing, Events and Advertising and retrain in Holistic Therapies in 2007 and go on to specialise in advanced foot, facial and hand Reflexology techniques and protocols to further help support her clients’ needs. Gemma has worked across Naturopathic clinics and ran her own complementary therapy business in the UK before moving to Dubai, where she continued her work at AACS Hospital in Dubai Health Care City.

 

Gemma is compassionate, and her clients are put at ease with a therapeutic and nurturing experience. With her attention to detail, Gemma customises each session to address her client’s needs, helping them achieve relaxation and stress relief to benefit their overall health and well-being.

• Lymphatic Drainage (Reflexology Lymph Drainage – RLD) – initially developed for supporting symptoms of secondary lymphoedema (post breast cancer related) such as swelling, aches and pains and has helped the clinical treatment of other lymphatic and vascular disorders such as lipoedema and non-breast cancer-related lymphoedema. RLD can help reduce symptoms of water retention and sluggishness and help support the lymphatic system’s functions. Gemma is the only certified practitioner in the UAE to offer this specialised RLD Reflexology treatment.

• Digestive Issues – such as irritable bowel (IBS), irritable bowel disorders (IBD), constipation, diarrhoea and bloating.

• Stress management and relieving muscular tension.

• Facial Reflexology – offering aesthetic and well-being benefits of traditional Reflexology for a rebalancing, rejuvenated and revitalising effect. This can be adequate support for migraines, tension headaches, non-infectious sinus problems and TMJ-related issues.

Gemma has a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, the systems of the body and years of experience working with the principles of the ‘reflex’ points on the hands, feet and face to provide the most effective Reflexology treatments.
