Dr Natalia officially began her career in dermatology in 2012 with a training post (residency/registrar training) at St. George’s University of London, her alma mater. Throughout her training, Dr Natalia deeply understood the importance of listening to patients and effective communication.
This approach enables her to ask precise questions, make accurate diagnosis, and collaborate with the patient to determine the most effective and cost-efficient treatment options.
Following her registrar training, Dr Natalia completed a fellowship specialising in skin cancer diagnosis and surgical treatment. She is particularly skilled in managing basal cell carcinoma, performing all types of skin surgery, as well as Mohs micrographic surgery, which is the gold standard for excising certain types of skin cancer from the head and neck while focusing on optimal aesthetic results.
Dr Natalia prides herself on her extensive training and experience across all aspects of dermatology, from managing inflammatory conditions like acne, eczema, melasma, and psoriasis to addressing hair loss in men and women and complex skin cancer diagnoses and surgery. She only performs a handful of aesthetic treatments that she knows, from experience and the medical literature to actually ‘work’. This includes but is not limited to Botox, careful use of hyaluronic acid ‘filler’, and targeted laser and light treatments for acne scars, skin rejuvenation, and facial thread veins. Her philosophy emphasises conservative, natural-looking aesthetic enhancements as part of her comprehensive dermatology practice. As Dr Natalia often says, ‘It’s better to look old than weird’ when it comes to aesthetic treatments.
For those interested, Dr Natalia can be seen in action on six seasons of Skin A&E on UK’s Channel 5, where she treats various benign skin lesions, such as lipomas and cysts. In 2022, she published Skintelligent, a book that delves into the treatment of common facial skin diseases and critiques the skincare industry, discussing how consumers can avoid overpriced and ineffective skincare products.

Dr Natalia is well known for her ethical and unbiased approach to skincare, as she does not sell products in her clinic, accept paid promotions, or represent any skincare brands. Her dedication to integrity and ethics is the cornerstone of her clinical practice and has garnered her a reputation for honesty in a commercialised world of ‘beauty’ treatments.
