Dr Anjulie Dhillon

Health Psychologist

Dr Anjulie is a British-trained Health Psychologist with experience working in the UK and Dubai. She specialises in supporting individuals to manage anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, identity, grief, and adjustment difficulties that often accompany physical health conditions. She aims to help individuals navigate their challenges and support them with meaningful change. 

Dr Anjulie graduated in the UK with a Bachelor of Science in Human Psychology from Aston University, a Master of Science in Health Psychology from Coventry University, and a Doctorate in Health Psychology from Staffordshire University.

Dr Anjulie has experience working with a wide variety of clients and has worked in diverse areas. Her expertise in the field includes, but is not limited to, the following:

– Depression, low mood, general anxiety

– Adjustment to long-term conditions

Dr Anjulie uses an integrated approach where she combines elements of different therapies and adapts her approach according to her client’s specific needs. She mainly uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and third-wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapy modalities (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy & Compassion Therapy), Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT) and Motivational Interviewing. She is also trained in The Flash Technique from EMDR Therapy and Dream Completion Technique for Resolving Nightmares. 

It is essential to Dr Anjulie that the individual she is sitting with feels safe and comfortable. She, therefore, makes every effort to help you feel at ease. You will begin by getting to know each other and then together, you can think about what may help you move forward. Dr Anjulie appreciates how daunting it can feel to share your experiences with someone new; she therefore aims to offer a warm, compassionate, and safe space so that you feel you can talk to her comfortably. 

Dr Anjulie offers a free initial 15-minute consultation so that you can share what you may be struggling with, ask any questions, and explore whether you feel she is the right fit for you. She will also assess if she feels she can help you.
