Dr Allen Busch initially completed a degree in biological science before commencing his medical studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. After graduating in 1988 and completing his medical internship, he worked in Canada in general practice, covering ER and hospital patients.

Following this, he worked in a family clinic in his hometown, Durban, South Africa, for 28 years before coming to Dubai in 2022 when his wife was transferred here. For the past year and a half, he has worked at Dubai Physiotherapy and Family Medicine, one of the oldest established clinics in Dubai treating both medical and musculoskeletal conditions.

Having always had a strong interest in Sports Medicine, he was an active member for many years with the South African Sports Medicine Association, attending overseas and local workshops and providing medical coverage for local and international sporting events.

Dr Allen enjoys all aspects of medicine and constantly endeavours to keep up to date with new developments and concepts in medicine and health matters.

Engaging with patients and giving them the necessary time is an essential cornerstone of his approach to patient care to enable holistic treatment and advice.
